By accessing, downloading, or using the Exam Mate website and mobile application (collectively, the "Platform"), you enter into a legally binding contract with Exam Mate and agree to comply with these Terms of Use. If you do not unequivocally agree to all terms, you must immediately cease accessing and using the Platform.
Exam Mate provides an educational platform that aggregates study materials, including textbooks, notes, previous year question papers, and solutions. The Platform is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.
Exam Mate reserves the absolute right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect, feature, or service of the Platform at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the service.
Exam Mate acts strictly as an educational intermediary platform that aggregates, indexes, organizes, categorizes, and facilitates access to educational resources and information.
Exam Mate does not guarantee that any third-party content has been authorized, approved, reviewed, or endorsed by its original creator or copyright owner. Users are actively encouraged to consult official sources and officially prescribed textbooks whenever available to supplement their learning.
Exam Mate is an independent, private educational platform. We do not represent, affiliate with, or act on behalf of any university, educational board, government department, recruitment agency, examination authority, or statutory body.
The availability of any syllabus, question paper, or material on Exam Mate does not imply ownership, authorization, endorsement, sponsorship, approval, or partnership by the respective university, board, institution, publisher, government authority, examination body, author, or copyright owner.
University notifications, examination schedules, results, admissions information, recruitment notices, syllabi, academic regulations, and similar information aggregated on our Platform may contain inaccuracies or change without notice.
Exam Mate shall not be legally or financially responsible for any decision, action, academic consequence, failing grade, financial loss, admission rejection, examination issue, or opportunity missed as a result of reliance on any information or material available through the Platform.
You may be required to register an account to access certain features. You are entirely responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activities occurring under your account.
Users under the age of 13 must obtain parental or guardian consent before using the Platform.
Right to Terminate: Exam Mate reserves the right to suspend, disable, or immediately terminate your account or your access to the Platform at any time, for any reason—including violation of these Terms—without prior notice or liability.
By using the Platform, you agree you will NOT:
All proprietary branding, source code, UI designs, and original software algorithms developed by Exam Mate remain our exclusive intellectual property.
However, we do not guarantee or claim copyright ownership over the third-party educational materials distributed on the Platform. The Platform indexes and provides access to this open-source and publicly available information strictly for non-commercial educational purposes, relying on the "fair dealing" provisions established under Indian Copyright Law for the benefit of student education.
Exam Mate respects intellectual property rights and provides educational resources for informational and educational purposes. Copyright ownership, where applicable, remains with the respective owners. Exam Mate will promptly review and act upon valid copyright complaints.
Nothing contained on the Platform shall be interpreted as granting any license, ownership right, authorization, or intellectual property interest in any third-party content. All rights not expressly granted herein are fully reserved by their respective copyright owners.
Exam Mate reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, to remove, restrict, disable, edit, de-index, or otherwise limit access to any content for legal, operational, security, compliance, copyright, policy, or business reasons.
We strictly comply with court orders, governmental requests, legal notices, and valid copyright complaints.
Takedown Requests: If you are the rightful copyright owner of any material indexed on our Platform and wish for it to be removed, please email us at [email protected] with a link to the material and proof of ownership. We will promptly process the removal from our servers.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE PLATFORM AND ALL RESOURCES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITH ALL FAULTS AND WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. EXAM MATE HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS WITH RESPECT TO THE PLATFORM, EITHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, TIMELINESS, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT OF THIRD-PARTY RIGHTS.
IN NO EVENT SHALL EXAM MATE, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, ACADEMIC STANDING, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM (I) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE PLATFORM; (II) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE PLATFORM; OR (III) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE) OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN INFORMED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Exam Mate and its licensee and licensors, and their employees, contractors, agents, officers and directors, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees), resulting from or arising out of a) your use and access of the Platform, or b) a breach of these Terms.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our Service, and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have had between us regarding the Service.
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, including any question regarding its existence, validity or termination, shall be referred to and finally resolved by The courts located in Patna, Bihar, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or relating to the Platform.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. By continuing to access or use our Platform after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
